Aloha bill,

     OK, you got the better of me.  You do some interesting things.  I can see some principles being demonstrated here, but I am at a loss for details.  For many readers and myself, we will not understand this video without a little more explanation.  

     What platform are you using?  It looks like you are using using either a P2 with GoPro or a P4?  (That is due to the extreme slow-motion scene.)  The wide angle of the shots make it hard to see any camera tracking or motion tracking.  (It looks like from 1 minute to 1 minute 7 secs could be motion tracking.)  What is causing the blur and vertical striations?  Is this a successful test?

     Keep doing these interesting videos.  For those of us who are new at this, we just want to know what makes it so interesting.

Aloha Cetaman!! Thanks for the great message :-) I will see what i can do to give more details when I get the chance. In short I motion tracked the first clip where it says camera tracking on the ground .. That's not real :-)

The slo mo is the built in optical flow in Final Cut Pro X ... Amazing!

The stylizing is done with Red Giants Magic Bullet Looks ... Great plugin!

I filmed it with my Phantom 3 Advanced.

     Are you serious?  The slow motion is an artifact of Final Cut Pro X?  And the blurs and vertical smudges are stylizing?  Wow, I got a lot to learn here!

Amazing as it sounds .. Optical Flow - built in to Final Cut Pro X took that clip down to 2% speed ... I used this plugin for the vertical smudges  - http://store.pixelfilmstudios.com/product/promorphic/

     BTW, if you click on the "Reply" tab at the bottom right of the post you are responding to, it puts the quote in quotes and notifies the Replying person that you have responded.  Took me a long time to figure it out.
