DJI you recommend upgrading to the latest version but only read bad reviews.
which means that "+" in the firm?
I read the 1.5.30 has battery management problems.

From what I can gather 1.5.30+ is actually 1.6.40 firmware. I have the same on my P3

I have also confirmed for a fact my P3A (which says 1.5.030+) actually has 1.6.040 firmware.

The "+" in the end of the number of the firmware version doesn't influence the normal operation of your aircraft. Besides, it is recommended to keep the firmware up to date.

The "+" sign has relevance and that can indeed influence the operation of the aircraft. For instance, 1.5.030 has a known battery issue that can cause the aircraft to fall from the sky, whereas 1.5.030+ (i,e, 1.6.040) does not have that issue because it has been fixed. I understand what is recommended by DJI regarding keeping firmware up to date, just want to be factually correct about the firmware versions and what the "+" sign means rather than say it is of no significance.
