Can i? I dont have a memory card reader. Can i just connect the memory card to the laptop and copy paste the FW file and update it? Will it work?

It says, to access photos and video on SD card. Can i actually update FW via the process shown above? Because everywhere it is shown that you should use card reader to update the FW. Please advise.

Yes you can copy the fw to the card like copying files to the flash drive by this method.

Yes, you can.

1. Some laptops have a built-in card reader, look for a small crack that you can put your SD card in.

Or  2. Use the USB cable to transfer files from your computer to your plane.
