I try to stay away from the electricity to avoid 1. possible interference  2. the wire might trap the quad.

Congrat on your first shot. You can try flying higher then.

Eh, isn't always an option, unfortunately. Where I live, urbanization is almost everywhere, but of course, I always wait for a few and see if there's any interferences in the area. Thanks for the hint, though, everything's a keeper!
