Hope they have a tracking device, if there's none yet, on the airport and can identify the owners of approaching drones.

If he's that stupid then he's probably stupid enough to post the video to youtube (here's to hoping he does). Should make it easier to find him then. People like that give all of us responsible flyers a bad name and cause more  undue restrictions that will probably be implemented down the road.

What a gripping in depth report from the news desk. May be just a slow news day, may be a plastic bag masquerading as a drone.

Must have been a big sucker drone for them to even see it whilst on descent probably around 160 - 180 knots and also assuming clear conditions and visibility. Yes Willy 2, there are plenty of idiots out there but UAV ops is also an easy target for the media, especially when they need a story. Not much of an apology offered when it was deemed to be a plastic bag attacking an aircraft on descent a little while ago.
