There is a setting to limit the distance you can fly in the DJI GO app. I use it when working commercial jobs near airports with the hope the Phantom will return home before reaching the airport in the event of a flyaway. If that is set to 500m then you can turn off the distance limit in the DJI GO app.  It is  near the beginner settings.

If you still have the SD cards you did the firmware upgrade from, there is a hidden log file you need to look at (google DJI Phantom Hidden log file and there will be instructions for finding it based on your Operating System).  IF in that file, you see a device error on lines 0800 and 1500, it means there is a hardware failure in the Video Transmission module on the top of the gimbal and it can only be fixed by DJI.  I've not yet seen anyone get past this "No Image Transmission Signal" with any type of reset or firmware reload but you are certainly welcome to try.

I sent my drone back on Friday the 15th and I got a warranty repair. I think the full camera and gimbal has been replaced. I received the drone back yesterday on the 27th July. Not bad at all.  This evening I tested the drone and everything was OK. I have to say I had a good service both from DJI and from the courier UPS (2 days travel from Italy to the Netherland). In my case I can tell: well done DJI !

unfortunately I did everything, including above those two and also i m not loosing video signal i m loosing radio signal

All you have to do is download the old firmware and install it. If you thinks it's a firmware issue then roll it back to the version that worked..  This isn't the first time Dji put out bad firmware.. They messed up the p3 professional 1 month after Its release and then took about a month to put out another update.  I was told to send my p3p in also but I left it sit on the shelf and waited for new firmware and when it finally came I installed it and my p3p worked fine again..  Many people had my same issues also..  At the time we didn't have the ability to roll back to previous firmware but that was the incident that made Dji make it possible on future upgrades.  So now you should be able to put your old fir,ware back on your p3

For the P3P and P3A you can downgrade one level.
For the Standard, it is all done via WiFi and you cannot downgrade.
There are sites out there that you get get pervious firmware BIN files but DJI does not recommend it.

Hello

The firmware v1.9.60 has problem.
My drone (P3P) was showing all the time the message "no signal transmission"
And the problem was only solved after I downgrade to version 1.8.80
I tried everything in version 1.9.60
Calibration IMU and compass, I changed smartphone, SD card, cable etc.
Nothing solved the problem. Only downgrade

It is based on the data analysis result. If a product error leads to the crash and drone is not out of warranty period, we'll arrange free RMA.

My fly away wasn't exactly a fly away but close enough.  Everything was fine, clear day, no wind,  ...

Ohh god , basically the same case to , me  i lose the video and i saw some GPS errors and quad did what it want , fly to who knows where , so  now i dont know where my quad is ,  and im wating DJI answer

i hope they help us with this issue because this thing happens after the firmware update , i whas happy with my quad and then after i update the firmware it fly away , its unbelievable i though it was for better performance and to add safety features but  it turns to be totally different

my quad was like new , i buy it 2 months ago i cant believe that i lose a $1000 quad because a firmware issues

Did you try to relink the Remote to the aircraft within the DJI GO app?  There is a "relinking" function in the app under the Remote Control settings.  If you have done that and it didn't work then try a RC hard reset, then try the relinking function.  Which update are you talking about the Aircraft, the Remote Control??

How to relink:



Reset RC (if needed) then relink as above..

"So please press these four buttons on the remote controller at the same time, namely, C1, C2, Recording and the Scroll that adjusts ISO, meanwhile, spare another finger to turn the remote controller on (don’t let the other four fingers go), then turn on the app and you’ll be able to download the firmware again (if you need to) and please follow the steps on the app and the remote controller will hence be updated."
