Off Topic? , but with a Phantom it seems easy to find a rary
Well, I’ll try to explain. A Rary is a reclusive crossbreed between rabbit and pony; as high as a pony, looking rodent-like. With some remarkable characteristics. First (commonly known) population is very, very small, just about 1000 heads worldwide. Preferably living near the western coast of Ireland , eventually near the highest cliffs. Nevertheless many researchers presume some families are living far-flung especially in UK’s northern parts. Like the "Wolperdinger" in Bavarian Forests. Or the "Elfetritsche" in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Second their senses are supernatural: fine ears, keen-eyed, olfaction super, and a sixth sense concerning minimal ground motion caused by creeping people. Naturally well camouflaged.
Young irish men (west coast, naturallement), after – it’s weekend - consuming 2 to 6 pints of beer must as trial of courage find a rary, sneak up and push it off a cliff to death. If well done, the prize are kisses from the prettiest mademoiselle in the country.
Until now nobody succeeded in doing so. Perhaps because young men swig > 6 pints of beer. So they try and try and try. Poor mademoiselle …
There are more and intelligent explanations in the net, not only the wishy-washy jokes. But I just can’t find the right address with the complete lovely tale …. (not this: https://looneyatoms.com/2013/03/01/shaggy-bird-story/)
And last not least: The song “It’s a long way to Tipperary” really means “It’s a long way TO TIP A RARY”…
