Hi Guys,

Im going on holiday to Solvakia this year and am wondering if anyone has had any experience taking a drone there or know of any drone laws they have.
I read somewhere that you had to do a written test and practical test?
I'm only going to fly it recreationally so dont think this would apply to me.

It still seems unclear.
Sounds like you do have to pass exams to fly it but this could just be for paid work.
It doesn't really specify whether you have to for hobby use?
Passing exams just to fly a drone in a field would be silly!

Hi. how everithing pass for you in Slovakia? Did you flight there? Next week i going to Slovakias mountains and planing take my P4P with me.  But Slovakian rules still just in slovakian language  and seems they are very complicated. It' very hard  to be in law if you coming just for couple days .

rules in slovakia is little bit crazy.

but basics..

max alt 100m
dont  fly above citites or peoples
no FPV
no beyond visual.
no night fligts

but...   
No one has ever checked me.  If u are not stupid and fly with safely, you will be ok.  U can chceck my videos from Slovakia on my YT channel. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ivan+dovala

Moutains are awsome, sometimes windy .No problems with drones. Just respect nature. Kamzik -  moutains goats are extremly scared by drone (by everything in sky ). Good luck and dont forget share some pictures/videos
