Is the firmware on the sd card? Just turn on the Phantom itself. Watch the battery Led's should flash for a few seconds or a little longer then the Led's go back to normal state. Battery update finished.
Hey guys, newbie question.........I bought my P4 about a week ago with 2 extra batteries If I'm following this right , you have to update the firmware with each battery installed in the P4? Really? I have used all the batteries at least once and I didn't do that. On my second flight I did see a firmware compatibility error, is there a way to check each battery? Did I miss a page of the book or something? LOL
when U get this error it will ask you if u want to update firmware, say yes n it will fix the battery, atleast it did this for mine... u should hear a critical battery lvl warning, or something like that, or again, atleast I did
If you mean go through the entire update from the beginning to do each battery the answer is no. Do your update and then cycle each of your batteries through your Phantom. If there are any battery updates they will be applied to the individual battery.
