I assigned c1 switch to on and off the front led light

So when you turn on the led light it will arm the payload

I use my payload system on my inspire 1 to drop gasoline filled balloons on an open fire so I can watch the big orange mushroom cloud. Is that practical enough for you?

Ok, my bad. How about dropping flowers off to a loved one? That would be nice, yea? And, I love this post I think it's very practical for all kinds of good purposes.

I wanted to drop Parachute toy for my 3yr old kid but don't dare to do it anywhere close to housing area
for now only for fishing is good ;)

I can see good uses and bad uses.
Just like the aircraft, people can use them for good or bad.
And since it's mounted on the back and not underneath, there would be no altitude variation due to the sonar has a unobstructed view.

Here is a release servo adapter I will mount this in the rear of p4 not  like the claw for the inspire ,the landing gear will raise and retract the claw very cool someone is selling the claw for $99.00
You can make the claw one easier for inspire than p4
I will use p4 for a fishing line oh almost forget I have to drop the blood bait also
Only over salt water for me

Sorry I apologize I did not understand your statement "you mad in 3d prints? "no worries all good !
check out you tube the" stork payload release" now if you also fly inspire this is really something you can make yourself brilliant idea I like it ,now for the P4 that will be a separate RC 2.4 G  with a servo to release a fishing line.
Of course safety is always first when I catch my meal and  I will always give thanks before I consume my Fish and chips

The switch is basic on/off so you save the battery
Inside the box 2 circuit board, 5V operated servo 500mah & USB charging port to charge the battery, you can check on my site
