Hello everyone,my name is Andrea and I recently bought a Phantom 3 standard. I love flying it and it takes very nice videos!
This morning I noticed as soon as I took off the gimbal wasn't straight so I tried to adjust the rolling but the motor wasn't responding. I could hear some noise coming from it. Now I have the same issue and I'm not sure what I should do. I took a video. Please have a look and let me know what you

Three questions:  
1) Exactly how did you try and "adjust" the gimbal?
2) When you first power on the Phantom does the gimbal go through any of the usual start up movements or does it just hang limp all the time?
3) Do you get any picture when you go into the camera screen of the DJI Vision app?

You shouldn't touch the gimbal when the phantom is on- that can damage the motor. I'd suggest doing a gimbal calibration if you have not already tried that

From the video, it looks like the gimbal roll axis motor and/or control is gone. The other axis look OK.

So it was working fine when you first received it correct?
Did you have any hard landings?
Are the two ribbon cables on top of the gimbal fully plugged in?
When you power up the aircraft does the camera not go though all it's range of movements?
Can you preform a gimbal calibration and see what that does?

hey bro did you find a solution for this because I also have the same problem in my p3s.. I can hear a some small noise from the gimbal.. but I motors are not running. But Camera is working great..

its gimbal spoiled, may have to change the flat cable.
