I have just received my phantom 3 standard back from Dji support after being repaired
I'm in Australia so CE mode using both iPhone 5s and iPad Air 2
I received it Friday afternoon and got it all going new firmware update available
I updated through the Dji go app with no problems success
I've now been through three batteries flown in same places where I had video signal faults before repairs
I have no problems with video signal, range over 300m 400m without any lag or loss of signal
So I can say that I have no issues with the latest firmware for p3s
Thanks again to Dji support and their service technicians for their excellent customer support
And the Dji moderators in this forum for their patience and understanding and professional approach
One very happy, glad to be in the air again, proud owner of Dji's Phantom 3 standard flying machine

That's great Darren, thank you very much for posting.
If you have an issue with your P3S and have done ALL of the troubleshooting steps and still have extremely degraded signal then please just contact support and sent it in and it will be taken care of.
If you make posts for weeks about your Standard not working correctly, you have to send it in anyways, so you are just delaying the time you will get your aircraft working correctly again.

Yes Dji ken I think some may be hesitant due to costs of transport (delivery) and if that's why then they should just talk with Dji support and I am sure they will be able too help them
Just as they did for me
Dji support is very professional and efficient I for one am impressed and great-full for them being there !!!
Something Dji's competitors could aspire to achieve (they never will)

Thanks again for the comments, I know outside of the US shipping can be expensive.
And yes, talking to support may help out some.
