It isn't a question about phantom itself actually, but... what do you use to record the screen of your tablet while flying?
I've been reading a lot on it, but couldn't find anything feasible yet, with this setup:
I edited your post to the correct spelling (you forgot the n)
for IOS, I used to use Air Shou to screen record, sometimes it works and sometimes it deosn't.
I looked into it, but it seems it lost the ability to record screen with the last update, unfortunately I didn't install it when it was recording screen as main feature
Air Shou is still around, but you need a wifi connection to use the screen record. No idea why. I have it on my mini 4. You can find links and instructions on how to install it if you google it. But it is a waste of time.
I have recently installed the HDMI module on my Phantom 4 Remote (AU$169.00) so now I can plug the HDMI into my MacBookPro and use the screen record function of the Mac, and with that Module you have the option to send clean video or video with On Screen Data I am also about to buy a HDMI video sender/receiver with it's own power supply I plug the sender into the Remotes HDMI out and the receiver into the HDMI in to the MacBookPro or any other HDMI input i.e. video monitor or Shogun, this gives me the ability to send and record the info from my iPad mini 4 to a remote screen/laptop so the client can see what I am shooting without having to look over my shoulder and because you can record the On Screen Data this set up is also very good for creating tutorials, I am about to buy an Inspire 1Pro as my Main RPA and this already has the HDMI output. I hope some of this info is helpful.
For Android you can use screen capture on your phone.
(went out on the boat... forgot the SD card, and had to do lousy screen capture to get any video)
Thanks for pointing that out, I just assumed that because HDMI is two way however after a little research yes you are right so this means I may have to invest in a Atomos Shogun, thanks for that Ken
