Hello everyone.
I just got my DJI Phantom 4.

I just ran into a problem and i got the phantom to crash

I have the flight record uploaded on Youtube

As you can see problem starts at 00:54 and you can see that i pressing the right stick forward and the drone is going backwards!! WTF??? I decide to turn on it 01:06 so it can detect the wall behind it but is was to late and it crashed into it.

Weather: It was completly sunny and no wind.

Terrain: it was 10x10 meters of lawn that was not completely straight.

Please help me understad what i am doing wrong.

i have encountered this problem more then once now but i have successful land it before it was going to crash again.

The damages was only the probs so no worry.

Sorry for your crash, Staffan1. I'd suggest you to download the DAT file of the accident date from the drone via DJI Assistant 2 and then send it to support.eu@dji.com for data analysis. Both the FC and vision module files are necessary. The DAT file will show more details. P4 MC data.JPG

I'm sorry about your crash.
Your crash possibly damaged the VPS module and that could be why it doesn't show up.
Regardless, the DAT file will tell what the cause was.
I don't know why it showed going backwards and but you had full forward input.
All I can think if is extreme wind but you said there was no wind. The DAT file will show the angle of the aircraft and hopefully should determine why it did that.
Also, I see you did a Phantom3 CSC. If you were trying to kill the motors, that's the incorrect way for the P4.

I have a thought that it might be that the altitude was on - when i was going to land. Because I tested it again and the problem was back again and i successful landed in time before crash. I tested it once again BUT on a new spot and i calibrated the compas so the - altitude was no longer existed. And it worked fine. but it's just a thought.

Is it okey to just send you the FC file? were do i send it?

Yes, it changed in the P4. When you open the app for the first time and connect the aircraft there's a popup that tells you the new procedure.
Also, in the Academy section of the app there's the full PDF manual and a bunch of really informative tutorial videos. from the home page, upper right icon (graduation hat). That will take you to all of that plus there's also a flight simulator.

Compass calibration is not related to negative altitude.  All altitudes are relative to the altitude of the takeoff point.  A negative altitude is not at all uncommon if you fly over uneven terrain.
