If I buy an iPad Pro 9.7-inch (the smaller version), does it fit in the standard holder that comes with a Phantom 3 Professional remote control?

You may need an additional bracket.
See the iPad Air2 dimensions, as it just fits, but nice and snug...

I am still baffled about what happened to the upcoming iPad Air3 128gb Cellular...?
Seems like they aren't going to release it unless later this year... Wonder why? ;-)

Probably they don't have any nice features to add to the iPad Air, so they want to wait for the R&D to catch up. Apple doesn't want another mediocre performing iPad.

The specs were already released, last year...
It was to be released beside the iPad Pro.

You would be better off with the iPad Mini 4. It is just right. Not to big and not to small.

I doubt the authority of the site, all the major tech sites seem to only have "rumors" about iPad Air 3
