still playing with photoshop and various GO settings, but I finally got the cojones to take off and land from the boat.  A little hairy but kinda exciting.  I set signal loss to "hover", fortunately didn't need it.

thanks, Ken...hey maybe a silly question, but:  if lost signal failsafe is set to hover, and signal is indeed lost, with the P3 stop and hover at that point, or will it return to the homepoint and HOVER there, instead of landing?  I had not been changing homepoint frequently while on the boat because I assumed it would stop and hover if signal was lost and I would simply turn around and go get it.  Thanks.

Don't worry about silly questions, we are here to answer any tech related questions.
If set to HOVER, it will do exactly that. When it loses signal, it will hover wherever it lost signal at. Eventually if it stays that way then it will land right there as well when you get a critical low battery.
