I've recently learned that they now work well in the P3. I thought DJI didn't authorize non DJI batteries? When did that decision get made and implimented?

Although I've heard of people using 3rd party batteries, I've also heard of them not working later.  So even if they work today, will they on the next App or firmware update?  Do they last as long and have as good of a lifespan?  If you crash, will you get warranty coverage?

I would just stick with the official ones - would your craft remain under warranty if you're using a third party battery?

I'm not sure ...

Either way - I'd say you're better off using the official DJI ones.
