I attended the " pilot training" in Paris earlier today. Really disappointed as it's nothing to do with training - just a sales push.
Nice enough people though but don't expect to learn too much

That sucks. Who offered this "pilot training"? A retailer, DJI? Did it cost anything?

Have anybody else  get a real training? I would imagine there are legitimate trainings out there.

I think that hands on training with 20 to 30 people might be difficult to do in a day. What would be useful would be a ground school where someone who is knowledgeable can explain all the functions and answer questions.

I think the retailers offer it in conjunction with DJI but it's misleading to call it pilot training. There is no charge but I thought that being an owner might merit something a little more hands on and informative.

Hmm.  I just registered for one that is 3 hours away from me.  Now you have me thinking about canceling.  I have watched a lot and read a lot, but I would rather not have my first "test" flight on mine.

Wow, I almost flew a long way away to attend.  Glad I waited...
