Hi

We are having difficulty with our Ronin. When we power it up it does nothing but when you angle the gimble it goes crazy and spins out of control.

I tried to update it thru DJI RONIN Assist but with no luck.
See enclosed picture. Please help!!!

Just to clarify, how long have you had this unit? Did you notice this after a firmware update or long term storage? Do you recall what firmware you currently have?

We bought the unit on 23.3.2016 and we have not updated it since. It started acting up last week. We only used it for abut 5 shoots. Sorry i do not recall what the firmware was because i never looked

Do you get the same effect on the Ronin Assistant app as you do on the PC?

no matter what don't update the remote..a known issue exists..if you get it working don't update if you can avoid it..there is a roll issue that was resolve recently in firmware..but that same update wiped out a lot of remotes. good luck!! cheers Darrin

Based on the information provided, this would be a hardware issue that would require for the unit to come in for service. Please keep in mind that it would help to hit "reply" to the post you are responding to, so that the person who created the post would be alerted.
