Anyone have any tips with this issue? I have just set off travelling with my dji p4 and a brand new phone, the Sony x performance. Didn't have much time prior to leaving home and assumed it would just work. I've used it with an android tablet and my old phone a sony z1 android.

The phone buzzes 6 times when I plug it in with no notifications and does not charge. I've made sure it's in MTP mode on the USB and not really sure what else I can try. It uses marshmallow (android 6).

Plugging it into the PC gives me the MTP usb selection and I can transfer pc<>phone ok.

Searched a lot and cannot find anything. cheers!

I'd already done that. doesn't seem to make a difference. Think i'm going to nuke the phone and see if it helps. when i first got it the sony tool carried across all the settings from the z1, so that may have something to do with it.
Edit: Resetting the phone and only having the DJI GO on there didn't fix anything.. still getting the 6 vibrations when plugging into the rc.

Paladin, I'm sorry I don't understand what you are suggesting.

Is this a new app? or a function within the current dji go app?

Sorry for your confusion and it is a list of the recommended devices. So now does other device work well with your RC? If it is convenient, it would be better to test with the devices in the list.

Sorry nothing yet. Something has change as it now no longer vibrates for me and I've had no updates for the Sony phone.

Note the phantom works fine with;
Sony Z1 phone
SonyZ1 Tablet
Iphone 6s

The phone (X Performance) works with
Usb paired to PC in MTP and USB storage modes.
Links to sony Playmemories app
USB Flir device I use.

I'd be willing to test any beta apps available if it would help any.
