is this a OEM battery? it looks different from my original one. this one has chinese letters all over it and i bouhgt it at best buy. it was an open box item not sure if the previous owner swaped it for a fake. please help

Can you show a pic of the top of the battery with the led lights.

The new batteries do have Chinese characters on them, so it's likely legit.  Hawks100 likely asks about the top of the battery because the common 3rd party battery found out and about has a different light shape.  More like a bird foot, as opposed to the standard bars.

Hello lopezcain, there are some Chinese characters on the new batteries and if you buy from an authorized dealer, you don't need to worry about it.
