Does anyone know a way to turn off the sound of when you plug your computer into the DJI Phantom 3 Standard's camera?

Hello mana0303, unfortunately this sound cannot be turned off.

Ok thanks for the information. Just would like peace and quiet when importing.

Mana0303,

I too did not like the sounds and assumed a small amount of battery usage and wear and tear to import with the aircraft plugged in.
So I have been removing card and downloading images and video directly from card then deleting images and video from card. Then I replace card in aircraft.
The only problem is one time I neglected to return card to aircraft, it flew fine but would not record picture or video.
Perhaps those with experience could reply if there is any danger to remove card verses plugin in and importing.

Yea, but for some reason my mac SD card reader is acting up and I am away from home, so I was trying to find a way until I get back.

There is no danger.    Have spare cards, and when you remove one, put another in.

I download all my new 4K videos to my computer, after returning from each flying session.
The "library" is getting large... Hahaha

On my PC I find the transfer of the video MUCH faster directly from the camera than removing the card and inserting it into the computers USB port (doesn't make sense but is repeatable).
I copy the media files over to my Qnap NAS as soon as I get home. That way I can sit comfortably and watch the video on the big screen. A lot of it will eventually get trashed, but in the mean time its a good record of ones progressing skills or not
It doesn't take much 4k video to fill up a 64GB card, does it!
