I am thinking of getting a Phantom 3 standard as this will be my first quad. Most of my flying will be in areas without wifi. Will there be any problems flying without wifi and if so what are they.

Hi Don,
The wifi is use to comunicate from aircraft, remote controller and your cell/tablet.
If in your zone therearen't any wifi is the best, so you no interference.

Hello Don, the wifi that P3S uses is built in its RC. And the area free of wifi will be a best place for flying.

Thanks, I was concerned I would not see the camera view while flying (on my smart phone) if I did not have cell phone wifi. Sounds like that is not the case.
