So, I took my Phantom out to shoot the fireworks display. I can't beleive how amazing the footage looked! Let me know what you think

My videos are vlog style, so if you aren't into that type of thing and just want to see the drone footage skip to 10:29 to see the fireworks. There are some more drone shots scattered in there too ;)

Surprisingly, auto with exposure adjustments. The fireworks had already started so I just quickly took it up and forgot to switch to manual. Which in hindsight, was the best choice

I'd have to review the stats of the flight to be sure but I wasn't far away. You can tell by my launch spot. If I had to guess I'd say roughly 400-600 ft in distance over the water

Beautil stuff guys..KEEP IT UP!   Wouldl like to keep you safe drone wise.  36 years of  Piltoting full size aircraft...so please understand I say the following out of love for aviation and those in it....and your are in Aviation now and the family whether you realize it or not.  Your piloting skills are excellent.   Please remember the official Airman's Information Guide of the FAA states,  (we call it the AIM) 8 hours bottle to throttle...meaning no alcohol for 8 hours before take off.  I know that is asking alot and I do not expect you  to follow it exactly but alteast when we all post videos maybe not mention or suggestt any drinking and flying...Without a good spread of time and an honest self appraisal that one's head is completley clear there should be no takeoffs for any reason, fatigue etc..I know you guys were fine, and I know how much you enjoy the flying.  Just realize how influental your wonderful story telling  is and the impact on helping to keeep our community safe...Best flights ever!!!

Very good point! And I completely agree. However, the fireworks were actually shot the following night. The power of video editing ;)
