Anyone have any ideas why I'd get Phantom Connection Lost when taking RAW photos.  It doen't happen when taking JPEG photos.

It happens with the Vision, and its mentioned on the Wiki page and in the manual, it should only be for about 4-6 seconds whilst the image is processed then the camera view should return.

Raw files are about 26MB each where as JPG's are a few K in size, that's why it takes so long to process.

Crash, you can decrease the delay by using a class 10 memory card. For example:

I use the same set up and I lost connection as you mention, hence I now only shoot jpeg.
I had to land the drone, close it down and restart it to establish a connection again.

Not gonna risk that again.

im using the same card that came with it, never really shoot in raw format, mind you ive never fully lost FPV whilst shooting the occasional raw image.
That said after a recent ascent to 2700ft and losing FPV i did have to land the quad and do a full restart to regain FPV, might be the same thing

I have this problem.
Phantom 2 Vision with the latest firmware. Using my iPhone 6 it loses connection with the Phantom, but using my iPhone 5 it doesn't (when taking photos in RAW).
