Hi,

I just bought the Inspire 1 v2, and although I havent used it in air... after the firmware update I:

Cannot caliberate anymore (compass)
Gimbal cannot recieve Main Controller data
Command times out
The light at the back is going insane

Before this he did caliberate but kept on saying there was a IMU error
Was so looking forward to this.. Anyone has any ideas?

Oh one more thing, it says:
Check the 8 pin plug that connects the damping plate and the aircraft. Ensure that none of the pins are loose. If the problem persists, contact DJI Support.
I checked that, and its pretty solid

I would try a IMU full calibration and a Camera Gimbale calibration , I have seen this once before and it was right after an update.  Worth a Shot.
You do have the update completed for the RC and the Aircraft corrrect , always make sure to update the Aircraft first.....  ALWAYS .  
Be sure to reboot the whole system as well,  Aircraft , RC transmitter , Go app.  Start fresh for the Imu cal and Gimbal Cal.

Version 1.6 on the Transmitter and 1.8 or 1.9 on the Aircraft correct ?  This is what you have loaded ?
The last thing to do will be the compass calibration outside in a wide open area, keep the tranmitter 10 feet away as well, dont worry about this till flight time .

Do it in the order I have specified

The strange part on this when I first saw it was to check the Pins and connectors.  Such a strange message and a simple fix.....................once you know what to do .

Ok I have the same issue and have tried what has been suggested but I have not been successful. The drone boots up the gimbal twits and turns then stops and drops to one side and just beeps. Any further ideas?
