When is dji going to release new firmware for phantom 3 standard. I have a very expensive paper weight. I bought my p3s to use, not sit around. I'm thinking of buying another brand and telling my friends and family to stay away from dji.

As I've posted before in other threads, if you are having issues with your aircraft and done all the troubleshooting steps and cannot get the range then you need to send it in and it will be repaired.

Call DJI support at 818-235-0789 and they will take care of you.

I was worried bout mine iv only had it 2wks and keep reading posts like this.  I have upgraded 1.6.80.and this weekend i finally took it out to open space..  And it flew like a dream. At one location i went up to 380ft. And 600ft out.  No issue. At a different  location i took her to 200 ft up.  And 1374 ft out again like a dream so stable.

Glad you are enjoying your aircraft.
The key is being in an open area and free from interference.
