Hello guys, I just got my phantom 3 4K but people always ask me if phantom 3 4K is standard or advanced and i dont really know how to respond that, any help or information?

It is a mix of the pro with the standard, the 4K has the wifi and 5.8ghz on the controller. So it is an enhanced Standard. You paid a little extra for the silly 4K camera.

Why does it make you insane ?

He did not research before you bought.

An extra hundred for the camera doesn't seem so bad. Especially considering you can get excellent pictures from your video that have been shot in 4k. My two cents.

If all you care about is image quality,  the 4k is a good choice.  If you care about range,  the advanced is a good choice.  If you want both,  you need the Pro or the P4.
