I have a PS3S. What would be the easiest way to film something then show it on a TV. Long story short, I'm going to my parents’ house and would like to show them footage of their surroundings on their TV. I don't have much time for the visit. The TV is Smart and has inputs. I was thinking of just using a HDMI cable from a Laptop once I download the SD card.

Thanks for any advance,

With the P3 Standard, that's pretty much the easiest way.

Save the file onto a USB flash drive & plug it in the TV.  Works like a dream.  Just make sure it's in a format & resolution the TV can read.

Agreed, save it in MP4 format, most TVs know how to play that. It might also be a good idea to shoot in 1080p 30 fps as well.
