I have a P4 and with the original RC all is OK but when the P4 is paired with my Inspire RC, the craft generic is not displayed. Is this normal or is a SW glitch?
Also on the Inspire RC what setting should I chose? OFF or MASTER?

I also tried mine, the result is the same with the yours.

Hi, DJI doesn't recommend using Phantom's RC on Inspire, or vice versa.

All good now with Inspire RC on P4. Since the Inspire RC had the generic updated, the info is displayed now.

Are you getting better Range using the Inspire RC because it puts out more power?

Why would it increase range ? Your dependant on the P4 transmitting information to you, so that would be your limitation.
