Hello Forum ,

have the problem on z15 GH4 ( HD ) gimbal ,
h.free and h.trace have the same function .
I need the h.free with non orientation locked point .

configuration with problem: because trouble is only in relation to the A3 ctrler


-A3 with Futaba
-Gimbal with Graupner PPM (stands alone)

-Wookong with Futaba
-Gimbal with Graupner PPM (stands alone)

Latest firmware on it anywhere, i have checked the flight modes , but h.free is as h.trace .
Does anybody have the same Problem?  Can someone please help me .

Yes, I have a similar problem.
A3 with Futaba radio, Ronin MX Gimbal with the supplied radio and also tried with a Futaba radio. Using the CAN bus cable to connect the Ronin MX to the A3.
I don't use Lightbridge.
I can't get the gimbal to track free without the copter overriding the pan whenever I yaw left or right.
I upgraded to the A3 and the Ronin MX because DJI said it was the most stable gimbal what with getting the feedback from the flight controller.
It does work great, but this control issue is a head scratcher for me.

I think the problem is the A3 firmware in the connection code with the gimbal , because with the Wookong it works. the 3 -channel switch is changed to :
Position - 1 to Non orientation- locked
Position - 2 to Orientation -locked
Position - 3 to FPV Mode ( Reset)

Now I read in the manual :

Whichever 3 - position switch you select to use as the Working Mode switch , wire the relevant channel from the receiver to the port MODE .
At each switch position , use end- point fine tuning to set channel AUX2 ( JR ) or 7 ( Futaba / Hitec ) for all three working modes :
Orientation -locked MODE channel end- point 60 % ~ 90 %
FPV ( reset ) back to center
Non orientation- locked MODE channel end- point 60 % ~ 90 %

Notices ::
The gimbal will work in Orientation -locked mode if the MODE channel is disconnected .
FPV mode is the default startup mode When the MODE channel is connected .
The Working Mode from the previous cycle will be retained if power cable between the MODE and the RC receiver is disconnected during operation.


so I still can not work with my new ctrler A3 and feel very sad.

I hope the problem with the h.free mode is fixed soon, however, I am sad but hopefully to help with this contribution
