So I got an external battery adapter for my Osmo using P3p battery ...It Wouldn't work send it back to DJI ( the adopter) a month later DJI sent a new one ,,,,I tried it last night using Inspire battery & P3p and still having the same issue ,,,osmo comes on and wouldn't respond to the external battery ,,,,,,, any suggestion is more than welcome,,,  Starts to boot

The camera fan start
And then everything stop and the rigt light is red thanks

Can you send me the link as well ,,,,, same issue here ,,,I sent the adopter back to DJI and they send a new one   and still  same issue     ******@yahoo.com

Hi There

I have the same issue with P3 Batteries can i get a link to the beta firmware please. On a shoot in london for the next few days and need to have external battery if possible.

Hi DJI-H.C, I have the battery extender and the same problem, the osmo shut down when I turn on with the battery extender connected.

Can you send me the Beta firmware? I have Osmo X3 .

I am having the same issue.  I have tried 2 different power adapters with the extender as suggested on the site in the store for the extender and all I get is the red light.

UPDATE:  I received the beta firmware, ran the update, working fine now.  Thank you!

Just leave your email in the comment. Only if you have the battery extender not compatible with Ph ...

Hi, just upgrade your Osmo to the latest firmware, this issue should be solved then
