Hi guys, I have a quick question. I have an old p3 battery that was updated to my old p3p (firmware 1.8.60).  I have a new p3p with an older firmware 1.4.1+ , will this cause a problem assuming that I don't want to upgrade the new drone?

If there is a battery update then the app will tell you.
1.9 and 1.6 have battery firmware updates.
Since you are wanting to stay on 1.4 with your new aircraft and the battery has the 1.6 update I'd have to recommend being on the latest update.
Is there a reason you want to stay on 1.4?
I've updated over 20 Phantoms and have not experienced any issues.

Thanks for the answer, first, the firmware is 1.4.1+ which I believe is equivalent to 1.5.x
The reason I want to stay on this firmware is because the drone is flying prefect, no problem what so ever. In the past, firmware update used to reduce my flight stability, so what is not broken don't need fixing.
Do you believe it would cause any problems using that battery?

All I can say is it's recommended to be on the latest update of everything.

Our Field Applications Engineer tells me that such kind of situation may lead to some problems. So it is recommended to keep all the firmware up to date to ensure the user experience.

How do I upgrade spare batteries?  Battery in drone at time of upgrade was upgraded.  Other batteries when inserted indicated upgrade need and "battery broken" send in for repair.  New device and battery, never been flown.  How to I upgrade spare batteries after drone and RC has been successfully upgraded?

Consideration appreciated.
