DJI OSMO NO VIDEO FEED GO APP

I purchased the OSMO but I'm having trouble getting the video feed to show up on the DJI GO app.
Apple iPhone 6 Plus iOS version 8.3

The feed works when connected for the first time on most devices.

The problem occurs when the osmo is powered cycled then reconnected via wifi to the GO app. This causes the video feed to become black and the playback section of the app to display the loading icon indefintly. Everything else works, the camera shutter information is accurately displayed in the black bar at the top and the gimbal control via touchscreen is operational.

I have tried many recomended fixes from reinstalling the go app, to resetting the camera or changing the wifi SSID but nothing fixed the feed consistantly.  

The only consistant fix I have come up with is as follows:
1) power on the osmo2) close the GO app
3) open the GO app
4) connect to the osmo wifi network
5) in the GO app select the OSMO
6) tap SETTINGS icon
7) select 'Camera'
8) scroll down and select 'Reset Camera'
9) on the video feed tap the CAMERA icon
10) select 'Video Resolution'
11) randomly select different resolutions untill the feed appears


Is there a new beta version of the firmware or DJI GO app I could test to see if the video feed problem persists? Any suggestions or insight would be appretiated.
