I'm still new at flying the p4 and I'm just starting to get into the flight modes. I started with POI and it seems to work fine. This past Sunday after a firmware update I was using it and I tried the return to home. Instead of going to the set altitude, going to hover above the home position and landing it just said "landing" and started coming down. I stopped it from landing in the trees but it never returned home. I tried it again. same result, just said landing and started coming down. Did I miss something?

There is a minimum distance you have to be from the home point before the P4 flies back to the HP otherwise it just lands.  Distance is 10 or 20 meters, check the manual for the exact figure.
