It should hook up just fine without any conversion.

looks to be the same form factor. dont think there will be any issues, as it looks backward compatible.
we will know more after they rolloout

Sadly the new GoPro Hero 4 has several compatablity issues:

The rear pin connections  on the Hero 4 differ from the Hero 3, consequently you can't  get any video out through the H3-2D or H3-3D v1 zenmuse gimbal, and the camera won't charge.

The Hero 4 menu button fouls on the gimbal tilt motor casing

The Zenmuse H3-3D works perfectly with the Gopro 4 but you must add weights to obtain the correct balance of the camera.  The menu button does not foul on the gimbal housing and there is no need to grind it as some have suggested.  See my first flight:  

I stuck a coin on mine to balance and it works great.

Be really careful with the Gopro Wifi while flying. **I don't recommend it at all**.

There have been MANY loss of control issues reported when the WiFi transmitter is on. The much better way is a VTX. The dji AVL58 or the Black Mamba are my two favorite solutions.
