i cannot start my osmo, the left led is solid yellow led, and right led is solid red, both led lit, what's the problem, i'm using the sd card that already used with this osmo for 3 months, and using original dji battery

Hi, can you give me a screenshot of your phone? For the two LEDs, are they blinking or solid?
Please download firmware here http://www.dji.com/product/osmo/info#downloads , unzip the file, format your sd card, put the bin file into your sd card, put the sd card into Osmo,  then press "Trigger+record+power swtich" button together for a few seconds until left LED blinks red and green, then release until  the blinking stops.

Try again with your Osmo.


If it still doesn't work, please send an email to support@dji.com and sent it in for repair.

As I have mentioned in the first post, both led are solid, The strange things is this error happens randomly, I got 5 battery pack, are all originals and fully charged, one day I can use battery A, the other day I cannot use battery A, and B but I tried another battery (battery C&D) and the osmo is working fine, the other day I try again battery A and it's working again but Battery B cannot be use, I don't know why. I haven't try the firmware refresh, because I'm currrently travelling to another country, no computer access. Maybe I'll try at home. This is the screen shot, I can connect to the osmo's wifi, but mobile phone screen just black.

Ah finally got a friend who experienced the same problem, I'm confused because, if it's the problem on the osmo, it should be error with any battery, but if the problem is on the battery, why sometimes the battery is works like a charm hahaha last month I use the osmo no problem, it's been a month since my last shooting using osmo and come this problem

I to am having this issue using the battery extender.  Went to a big shoot at a concert today  and I get a solid red - indicating a non-original battery.  (It is original),  Come home and I try other batteries.  Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.  Not particularly useful. I can sort of buy the 'non dji battery in a drone can be unsafe' line but that is really no excuse for a handheld device.  Not impressed dji - especially when I go to the trouble - and EXPENSE to use genuine products and it still fails.  If there is a beta update to fix this it would be nice if dji were upfront and said 'We have a problem, and we are working on it'.

Hello I'm having the same issue. Is there a place to download the beta firmware? I've attempted to update my firmware and now it's giving me the "non-dji battery" error (solid red light on the right side).

When I turn it on. 2 quick green flashes on the right and a solid yellow on the left. This happens for about 2 seconds then  just a solid red on the right side.

I attempted to hard reset the firmware and it does the gimbal dance, blinking red and green on the left side and solid green on the right....then about 5-10 secs later the gimbal turns off but the lights keep blinking. I let it sit for a while and it stops and only the red light on the right side is solid.

I can't turn it on without doing the hard reset (camera button, trigger and power button) but nothing comes out of that process.

Already got burned with my lightbridge not updating due to a battery issue and the DJI techs sent me a bill for 300+.....and now this.

I am losing confidence in these products. I feel we are renting not owning if that makes any sense.
If there is still help here and if the offer to send the beta firmware to an email address that would be great!

I am having same problem, sent my osmo+ in for repair last week.  Tracking says they won't get it until this thursday.  I only had it for around 3 weeks,  now it's back with DJI.    We like it a lot!  got some great video, before it quit.   hope it's back soon!

I am having the same issue what is DJI doing to fix it.  is it an update that can fix this issue or DJI go app force a reset or firmware update but this is killing me. This is my main vlogging set up and guess i have not been vlogging because of it.

Very weird, I own 3 batteries... All of the sudden, all of them starting giving me this exact issue. Managed to update to the "new" firmware but no difference.

If the right LED is solid red after powering on, it seems that the communication between the battery and the handle is abnormal.
Please try to wipe the copper sheet inside the battery compartment with 95% alcohol and cotton swab. Let the alcohol air dry. If it does not work, wipe the battery contact with alcohol and cotton swab.
