Is it possible to hook up a laptop to my P4 to view video in real time?

Not sure but, I think you can do it with a HDMI module that you can add to your P4 RC. I never tried it but I think that is how it can be done.

Should be the same as ur tablet, same hook ups... wanna see how you fit it in the tablet holder tho... lol

I have a surface pro 3 and there is no way to do it on that anyway .

well there is no software to run it for video , and no it would not fit in the holder.

you cant download the app from the google play store, have you tried to search or just get it here and download it?... figured it wont fit in the holder, need a long extender for sure

If you are using an ipad on the controller you can airplay to a macbook, but not another ipad

Here's a clue. I asked if there was a way to hook up a laptop to my P4 to VIEW the video in real time. What part of view versus control did you miss? Nice quick draw worthless response tho. Thanks. Next time I'll add the finer details like, is there a way to hook a laptop to the radio controller of my P4 to VIEW the video in real time on the laptop. Better? It will shorten the cable length a bit don't you think?

There is no Windows version of the Go App, only iOS and Android.

The only method, as Roger has suggested, is to fit the HDMI output module to your RC unit. Then you can connect anything that accepts a HDMI input in order to view the images.

I have ordered the HDMI module and when it's installed I will try to view the video real time with it but am unsure of my laptops ability to do this. I am focused on the laptop because of it's battery life and portability in the field as opposed to a monitor or a television. Thanks.

Laptops sometimes have HDMI outputs, but not inputs. You may be in trouble there.

You'll need a HDMI monitor or TV to plug it into.  Most people are using it to connect to HeadPlays but it works great on a 25 inch (any size really) monitor too.  I use it both ways depending on what I'm doing.
