OK. So it took 3 hours to charge the battery and the same time to charge the monitor. The remote takes 6 AA batteries, so no charging htere.
I just went and flew it.
I guess I am spoiled!! I didn't relly care for it at all. It is peppy and has good power, but no ability to stay anywhere. It constantly drifts and maintaining altitude is virtually inpossible. Up - down - anything but hover. Landing is tricky also. It kept bouncing off the ground back up in the air. I guess I was trying to set it down too softly.
The camera takes better pictures than I ever thought it would, but not useable for my purposes. I have posted 2 below.
I have the "A" (Deluxe?) version which has a 5.8G FPV monitor. It's image wasn't bad, when there was one. The video feed is terrible. Staticy and very broken up.
All in all, I would say it is worth what it costs. A good learner perhaps.
It's main stregnth is that it is cute.
DJI, you don't have anything to worry about. I don't see these little buggers hurting your sales any.
I'll take my Inspire Pro and day. I am going to sell this toy on eBay and put the $ toward a Z3!!
