Dear DJI representitives,


Mu brand new Dji Inspire RAW doesn't calibrate the gmbal correctly. During calibration it turns the gimbal to 180, then the camera fells, it says "gimbal rool reached end point" The horizon is fallen after that.

I did not face such thing with the inspire 1 PRO. I never had horizon correction problem.

Be sure to do the IMU calibration First and then do the Camera Calibration.

Give this a try and see if it resolves.  Make sure you are on a perfect  flat level surface and do the camera calibration immediately afterwards.

I did IMU calibration and this did not help.

ALSO did downgrade of the firmware. No change.

To clarify, does this occur with the standard X5 when you connect it to that particular craft? Do you happen to still have your X5 to test that? We want to rule out if it's an issue with the aircraft or the gimbal itself. Have you been in contact with the Europe Support Team about this issue as well?

I did not have such a problem with the x5, I tested it again. I upgraded to the latest firmware, but the problem still exists.

I made a video as a proff. I bought the Inspire from the official dealer.

Will DJI approve the warranty replacement of the gimball (no SSD and lens, they work fine).

I can not wait until it is sent back to DJI as I have projects with the Inspire and I fly almost every day.

Could you help to settle this metter?

I flew Phantom 3, Dji Inspire 1 PRO and RAW.

If the gimbal was not involved in a crash, then a potential repair or replacement would be covered under the warranty. Unfortunately, I would not know for sure if it's a guaranteed replacement, as that would be determined by the repair technician during evaluation.
