Hello my fellow Inspire1 Pro owners,

I was wondering what your horizontal top speed in ATTI or GPS mode has been on this firmware?

I'm on 1.4.00.10 and don't want to upgrade if there is no improvement.

57mph on ATTI mode, 43mph on GPS mode!!

No wind, 49mph ATTI, Inspire 1 original model.

Be aware that settings influence the speed with newer firmware and there are several other downpoints with new firmware.

I am with Simon, at about 50 MPH in GPS mode , light wind, I have hit 70 MPH with a modest tail wind.

How did you get to 50mph in GPS mode? The fastest I ever get in GPS mode is 18m/s (40mph). Isn't it still limited to 18m/s in GPS mode? I've had it going 22-23m/s (49-51mph) in ATTI mode, though.

I dont know, maybe at the level (200- 250 altitude ) feet  I was flying I had a little  bit of tailwind.

I do know that I can go faster In Atti mode as well.  I will look more closely on my next flight  to confirm the data .

Well, even when I fly with a strong tail wind, GPS mode still won't go above 18m/s, it varies around 17.5-18.2m/s but it really seems to self-limit itself to that speed. With that same tailwind I've had it going 28m/s in ATTI, though.

The best I've got on 1.4.00.10 is 57mph on ATTI mode, 43mph on GPS mode as well.

I should add that I probably could go faster, but I like to retain good line of sight and orientation, so I don't like to send it too far.

I tried to do some test flying , but the winds were so unpredictable, I could not get valid data, I will try again soon .

I must have been confused on my flight performance, today with light winds I was able to go  44 MPH in GPS mode and a bit over 55 with light wind in ATTI mode.

I thought for sure I was going faster in GPS mode, I must have had it in Atti mode when I was hitting the High speeds

No problem, thanks for confirming that. I have my DJI Go app set to show meters per second so have to keep converting but I'm sure it self-limits to 18m/s (about 40mph) and I've never gone over about 18.3 in GPS mode.
