It looks like the prices are beginning to fall on the Phantom 2 Vision + v.3.0. Ten days ago I purchased mine from Amazon Prime and after looking at prices today, the prices on the Amazon Prime site had fallen ~$275. I called Amazon to ask for a price guarantee. After 10 minutes of waiting, Amazon processed a refund of $280.

So for any of you out there in a similar situation, I suggest you make the call to Amazon.

That's with extra battery....

We can consult our magic 8 ball as to why they are having sales......could be:


1. Jan and Feb are very slow sales times in the USA - their biggest market by far - and they want to get things going.
2. They want to make sure they bury the competition well....
3. They have some more improvements and/or a newer model coming out.

DJI does not sit back and rest on their laurels. They are very aggressive in terms of marketing and sales. I suspect all three things above have some truth. Either way, I am very tempted and will probably buy a new P2V+ at this price.

Now, if only they would discount their accessories (e.g., batteries and car chargers).

Price is good.  I take the lower price and jump on board.  Got a new P2V+ on the way.

I was able to get my 3.0 for 1299.00 with extra battery and 32Gig card.  Indeed cheaper, not cheap... just cheaper.

When all was said and done the cost for mine was $1,099 (P2V+, V3.0, extra battery, 32gb card, universal reader).

That is a very good price, I paid 1300 for same unit with just an extra battery end of November '14.

wow here I was waiting for a sale and bit on an extra battery/32gb card bundle. wish I would've waited another couple weeks

I looked on Amazon but only saw the $1099 price on the P2V+ with-out the V3.0 listing.    Bought mine after Christmas and thought I would ask about the price guarantee too ;)     Does anyone have a link to the lowered price on Amazon?

I got lucky and scored a killer deal off EBay!!  $875.00 shipped for a V2.0 Vision+...

Personally I'm not a "version chaser" so the 4.0 may be awesomesauce!  But, I'm happy with where I am, when technology makes a LEAP, I leap with it, but incremental changes  don't get my excitement level up... You hear me APPLE?

Prolly a new model is on the way. Mine has dropped $100.  Will see about a price match.

Unbelieveable.  I was issued my refund in under one hour.  Customer service at Amazon has improved in the last few months:

In France - If I buy the Phantom 2 vision+ Ver3 with extra battery today 'it's 1,199euros.  If I buy on a Tuesday or Wednesday until the 25th Feb it's 1020euros.  15% saving.

Yep just got mine for 1020euro..  I was gonna get it anyway so was lucky i hadnt boughht it earlier..

Adorama had a nice deal for a P2V+ that comes with an extra battery, a 32GB micro SD card and a pretty nice hard case for $1400. The case alone goes for over $200 and an extra battery is $130 so that seemed like a decent deal to me because I am now set for the gear I need.
