Guys, something does not work fine.

i bought second P3P. For months i have problem calibrating compass. Ussual sights i calibrated just fine now are don't want to calibrate.
I already SENT THIS DEVICE TO REPAIR. And they did calibrated compas for me.

IT'S ALL SAME. I WROTE I HAVE HALF YEAR EXPERIENCE CALIBRATING COMPASS.

PLEASE HELP.

Look at the compass sensor data in the app.
Are there numbers showing for the compass or does it show zero?
If zero, that indicates the compass is disconnected and will never calibrate.
If it has numbers, you should be able to calibrate as long as you stay well away from steel and reinforced concrete.

Hello Tino, normally the mod value range of compass is from 1000 to 2000. Please check it in the app and try to calibrate it in different open area.

Yes, i know. about 1400 is perfect. I flew P3 more that half year. since 1.4 or something FW

- compass is working, but kind not always well.
- 80% of flight time it gives me compass error
- i'm doing calibrations last two weeks, just everywhere. with 1.8 & 1.9. there is big hardware difference in my two P3
- already sent this device for repair. lost time to get re calibrated compass
- now got 5mins all green with 1.8

kind it works, but every time you lose more & more confidence. that's the thing

also, i bought this one brand new from authorised dealer. got device with OLD motors & OLD shell.
what they did about that in repair centre? nothing.

at lest on this one, gimbal looks that it works smooth & camera looks that it's sharp across whole image.

20mins test, three spsts i flew million times & did calibrations, on 1.9. can't get calibrated. tried everything. MOD ~410
will try on 1.8 again

manage to get mod ~1500 & proper calibration with latest remote/aircraft FW.
locks 16 satellites, yesterday's test i got 19 max.
just few "compass error, switch to ATTi" few sec issues.

gimbal is so much better on this one, i was getting massive jello when lean on any side with old bird.
not bad at all.

just bit hassle to get everything working. i would bet $2 that this is some different compass than in some previous or latter versions.
