I'm looking to buy one. Which ones are good and worth the $$?

All the best reviews are of ones that are the size of a football helmet and look as strange as a 3 dollar bill.........

Fat Shark are still pretty much the reference FPV goggles in terms of reliability / performance. I've had a pair that I've used for years now with my analog equipped copters - never given me a moments issue.

I keep looking at the new HD2 goggles for HDMI input from the Inspire but I haven't really had a "must get" moment so far - just something that'd be nice.

From what I've read, these work with any HDMI output so you can use them to watch TV at home then take them out to plug into your RC.

Dominator 2 HD by Fatshark are pretty nice and $$. Frankly I do not use them with my Inspire 1. There are many others out there that are newer

Rich what is the reason you do not use them with the inspire? Combaitibily, quality, or maybe you just dont  like FPV and not having full time VLOS on such an expensive quad?

I used my goggles for other smaller drones (less expensive) and this was certainly fun. I do not like the idea of not having LOS of the aircraft while using the goggles. In my  case the Inspire 1 is used for video / photos and not for FPV.  So if the workload for flying is to much, the second remote can be used for a cameraman if needed.

I did purchase them ( DJI goggles) and love them, however the downside was my eyeglasses with progressive lenses just didn't let my eyes focus correctily so i had to spend 200$ on another pair of glasses for use with the goggles.
For the sake of information I am far sited, I don't think it would have been an issue if I were near sited.
