HI been useing a mobile WIFI device for my maps, now iam forced to get shut of the device because of cost. Question i have is how do i get the maps without useing a mobile device, can i get them onto the RC somehow or is it all stored on the sd card in the gimble ive got a p3p    Thanks Hawk.

Yes you can cache them at home, in IOS General Settings, enable Cache Map in the Background.
For Android it is automatically on.
While at home on WiFi, open the Go app and move the map to your flying area and zoom in close enough to fill up the entire area. Close the app and open it back up when you get to your flying area and open the app and your may should be there.

But if it doesn't work (like on my iPad Mini2), just open Google Maps,  and then zoom around in DJI Go on the map screen.  It will cache it and you won't need Google Maps when you fly.
