Here is my review video of these lights. The video shows what the P4 looks like with these installed in the daylight. It also briefly shows what they look like from the ground when the P4 is at high altitude. I too will be sharing more videos on this thread in the coming weeks. Thanks, RHP for starting this thread.

Still holding out here at least a few more days, maybe once they have the colors available.  Just ordered the VR head set so I can try the FPV feature on Litchi without doing the HD upgrade to the radio.  I'm an FPV guy got to have my flight priorities then maybe add some blingity bling.  

If your'e 3 feet or a meter off the ground, do this give you enough visible light on high to fly forward and be able to see well enough (on phone or tablet, goggles, etc)?

Headlights for the drone, yes. When they are even at half brightness, it's crazy...
Do you understand the numbers? 1500 Lumens x 6000K. Mini sun.
They don't cast light out far distance, but near field, it's blinding to me.
Remember, with the adjustment wheel, you can turn the cubes up or point them down.
Ah, so one at 45* and the other set to 90*, gives the broadest light, for front visual clarity.

Last night, I put together a swell tripod rack, for my pair of Lume Cubes...I am pretty impressed by the usefulness of these awesome LED light sources.
Finding more unique systems to utilize them, is a quest of Love. ;-)

I had a small mishap in my kitchen last Thursday night. Accidentally scalded my right foot with boiling water.

So, I have been pretty sedentary this past week. I do get out, but it's not the most enjoyable time for flying.

That's not good, sorry to hear that.
I was in a hurry so I only got to try them for a few minutes but WOW ! ! !. These cubes are incredible.

You can even do security monitoring now, of the electric fence, with those awesome drone mounted spotlights.
Did you take it out, any distance to see how bright they shine? Try the strobe modes, for daylight flying. ;-)

I only had time for a quick flight behind my house.
I'll do more night testing in time.
Last night the wind direction was not it's usual and the airport used the other runway and the commercial jets were flying low right over me so I only wanted to fly low and get a quick test.
Usually there's nothing around for miles (except hawks) so it's an awesome place to fly with no interruptions from people or aircraft.

The others here have used them a lot more than I have and have much more experience with them.
I'll try to play around with them more, I can tell you that they are AMAZING and the build quality of the cubes and even the mounts is fantastic.
You get what you pay for, they are not cheap but well worth the price.

I am not sure if that gate is to keep uninvited intruders out, or prevent the unruly inmates from fleeing!! Haha
But it looks quite eerie in the night...

@DJI-Ken, You take very nice images already, so I hope the Lume Cubes will give you even more of an advantage, allowing you to
Photograph some otherwise unimaginable subjects, now made visible to your lens.

I did. It was honestly the X5 camera and the dual operator support that made me finally pull the trigger. I'll definitely be keeping the P4 and my P3P tho. They are way more portable than this I1

Jkeller84, I know, you will need a vehicle big enough for transport of that large beauty. Or just fly it there. Hehe
Anyways, way to go. That's a much greater responsibility once up in the air as well. Like you didn't understand that before hand.
But I trust you have plenty of piloting experience under your DJI neck strap already. ;-)

Looks like you might be waiting awhile longer. The cages weren't released in September as predicted, now, who knows an actual date?  I believe the extended wait, will be well worth it...
