DJI-Paladin Well, this is just a local UK phone number. When will a country with 60M citizens get a full support center?

Holland only has 16M population. If you want to serve a country properly (and many buyers look at the support level prior to purchasing an expensive product) you need to have found full support here in the UK

Just look at the support moans in the forums.

I know a good company like yours can do much better.

This is exactly the issue. Why is the UK treated as second class. Who wants to pack a £1200 bit of kit and send it on an expensive journey to the Netherlands?? Not good enough.

A UK hotline is all very well and good but considering how many sales DJI make in the UK I'd like to see a proper service center opened.  As noted above, it's not really on that we should have to ship expensive & fragile hardware overseas for repair.

What are their sale figures here compared to other regions? Anyone know?
The issue isn't just DJI's.
Any emerging industry is the same in the UK. Happened with Solar PV panels in 2010. Growing, hungry market  driven by individuals, small businesses, Zero support,had to ship most products in from Europe/China direct. Its not till the big retailers get involved, that manufactures then invest in support, distribution, repairs etc. Unfortunately, at prices £1000+, DJI is going to classed as specialist product, not cheap enough for the masses, sales of goods act etc,. etc  on something that in theory you could buy, smash it into a tree, then blame the supplier and that scares big retailers.
So we always struggle as an island/net importer, this will be compounded if the UK start import levy charges if/when we finally leave the EU.
And lets face it, someone could do something stupid, cause a plane to crash & UK could ban Unmanned air vehicles tomorrow...
Apart from that, great news that we have someone on a phone.
