I am a newbe with my new phantom4.  Zero experience with drones,  extensive RC experience.  I have had 20 flights with the P4 with no problems and I am learning new things with every flight. Now to the subject. My apple table allows me to zoom the camera but my Older Samsung 10 tablet won't do it.  Anybody with with a similar problem.  I would like to use my Samsung because the screen is better and it has more storage.
Did I mention that I love this drone.  My early videos are starting to look good, not great yet but promising. The information on this forum is great,  thanks for all the help.

The camera on the phantom 4 cant be zoomed threw the dji go app... I think I read that you can with the litchi app but I'm not sure

How old is your Samsung 10?

Zoom is only available on Apple & EQUIPMENT

My S10 is 3 years old with the latest upgrade.  I tried my note 4, no joy there. I am starting to think  that this is an apple function.

I think you maybe right, I did here somewhere that some of the functions don't work for android

It doesnt do it on my samsung tablet or my ipad mini2, but they're older

With Apple devices, you can do the two finger 'expand' to digitally zoom in up to 2x and two finger 'pinch' to go back to normal.  This feature isn't available with Android devices.  I can do it with my iPad Pro, but not with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Tried it several times with my mini 2, I just figured it was too old

I gave up and picked up an Apple mini 2_16 today.  Yes it zooms!!!!!!!  The 8 inch size seems good, light but clear picture.
And sits in the mount good.

Do you mean Zoom while recording or during playback?

I have a iPad Pro 9.7 that I can zoom in with but on my galaxy tab s2 I can not

I live in Iowa, rural, Monticello.
My drone zooms during recording. I have not tried it during play back or not recording.  I'll check this out.
Just for  the record, I Love the iPad mini, excellent screen, fast response, the size is perfect, not big , not to small, not too heavy.
It is now my number 1 for the drone.   I. Think I now have the best of the best for my new hobby.
