I see that Go uses an older version of Google Maps (lacks some terrain changes) than that I have in desktop browser.
Is it possible to update it? I use last version of Go.

If you're using iOS, your maps don't come from Google.
You'll get outdated maps/satellite view worldwide depending on where you fly.
If you're using Android, you'll get better updated info.
If you're flying in China, you have to look for the option that adjusts your map to China's coordinates, otherwise there'll be a slight difference on location. (don't ask me why?! Bonkers...)
Last I checked it was close to 1000ft difference.
