So I am new to the drone world, pre-ordered a mavic, and relatively new to the cinematography world as well. I have been day dreaming about a shot that would require similar transitions and would LOVE to know some of the details on how you did this. Perhaps it will be easier than I think but I doubt it.

Wow! Ian that's brilliant - great idea and thought I recognised the seafront. People and water scares me... I've probably watched too many crash vids on YouTube.

I'm in Torquay and had a P3P last year but was a bit overwhelmed by it all. Went to an XK X380 to get more practice and now have pre-ordered a Mavic. Next step is to get beyond just flying at Great Hill!

Good luck on the wind situation, even on a calm day its windy and always changes direction, but i have an idea send your litchi flight plans and ill throw my drone up and capture the footage for you as im in lytham st annes..5 mins into blackpool

you will get some amazing footage as the lights are on now and in and around the tower towards the pier at night will look amazing...

only other isue is seaguls they tend to dive at the drone

Hey your in Torquay cool , perhaps we should meet up for some flying, I hate going out on my own in fact this was the last time I took the P4 out. I'd love to see the new drone if your local enough. Glad you liked the Vid.

Thanks you that's a lovely offer but I would have to survey the area first. Before this flight I had to make sure I wasn't going to hit any ships masts on the way lol. I need to make more time for my p4 I haven't flown since that footage. Glad you liked it,
